‘Salvation ’is the highly anticipated new single from Scanners released through Dimmak (Bloc Party, The Rakes, Mystery Jets and MSTRKRFT).The female fronted four piece from London are one of the most exciting and intriguing bands on the gig circuit. The single is a Glorious and brilliantly heartwrenching slice of post punk pop with epic proportions, singer Sarah Daly’s haunting vocals and a valiant chant all make for a truly original and exciting music proposition.

Previous album ‘Violence Is Golden’ met with rave reviews and love from press and radio alike with Xfm sessions and Radio 1 plays.

They have spent the last 2 years touring the US extensively with the likes of The Horrors, Air, The Mystery Jets, The Wedding Present and Silversun Pickups as well as being interviewed by Carsson Daly. The single has also been included in the likes of One Tree Hill, Entourage and even the new series of Beverley Hills 90210!

‘Salvation’ is producedbyStephen Hague (New Order and Siouxsie & The Banshees) and is a taster of the new album due out Spring 2010

The band also play next Wednesday 2nd December at 93 Feet East.
