by altsounds [More from this Author] LUKE MULHOLLAND is thrilled to announce that he has been nominated for 'Blues Act of the Year' at the prestigious annual Boston Music Awards which will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2009 at The Liberty Hotel (215 Charles Street) at 7:00PM. He will be performing a track called "The Truth" from his new album Midnight Carnival playing alongside fellow nominees David Maxwell, Darrell Nulisch, Paul Rishell & Annie Raies, Troy Gonyea, Racky Thomas and Matt Stubbs. Luke enthuses, "I feel so honored, excited, and nervous all at the same time. I know I'm up against people who have been in the industry for a while, but I would still love to win, and it's still a feather in the cap even I don't." Fans and music lovers are also part of the voting process and can choose the winners of the Boston Music Awards by going to the BMA's website at The Boston Music Awards and cast their vote. With 26 categories, (Album of the Year, Artist of the Year, Song of the Year and more) over 100 artists are in play. Voting ends November 30th and winners will be announced live at the awards show.
