January 4th 2010 will see the release of ‘Ambling Alp’ - the first single taken from Yeasayer’s Feb 2010 released album ODD BLOOD (Mute).
Released digitally and on limited 12" vinyl and packaged in a rather wonderful space age coloured metallic sleeve, the single will also include an instrumental version of ‘Ambling Alp’ as well as a DJ Rupture & Brent Arnold remix.

The Cribs Announce January Tour; NEW "We Share The Same Skies" Video
Following their recent Stateside sojourn, where they appeared on The Letterman Show, as well as a trio of shows in New York and Los Angeles, The Cribs are pleased to announce a quick return across the Atlantic. The quartet will arrive this January, for a handful of shows with Adam Green and ex-Be Your Own Pet frontwoman, Jemima Pearl.
To hold you over till the new year, the guys have also released the video for new single, "We Share The Same Skies". Check out the cut-and-paste gem below:
Lifehouse Announce New Release Date and Cover Art
Lifehouse has confirmed a new release date for their fifth studio album, Smoke & Mirrors. The album will now hit stores February 2, 2010, and will be available in a standard edition as well as a deluxe edition that will include four additional tracks. In anticipation of the release, however, the band recently debuted the cover art on their official website.
In the meantime, "Halfway Gone" - the first single from Smoke & Mirrors - is rapidly climbing the charts. It is available for purchase now on iTunes.

Skillet Release Behind The Scenes Video For "Hero" & host a live chat on December 3rd
Skillet is letting fans behind-the-scenes for the making of their recent video for "Hero." Hear the band's feelings on the song itself, and get the scoop on the special effects used in the video.
"Hero" is the first track from Skillet's latest album, Awake, available now in stores and on iTunes. The band is in the midst of their Awake and Alive tour with Hawk Nelson and Decyfer Down. Remaining tour dates and additional information can be found on the band's MySpace page.

SIX ORGANS OF ADMITTANCE: FORTHCOMING UK SHOWS
Having released his tenth album, ‘Luminous Night’ (Drag City) earlier this year, the follow-up to 2007’s ‘Shelter From The Ash’, Six Organs of Admittance - aka Ben Chasny - returns to the UK for headline shows in December including a headline performance at Bush Hall on 4th December alongside acclaimed guitarist, VOICE OF THE SEVEN THUNDERS (Twisted Nerve/Kning Disk) and grainy, elliptic Belgian troubadour IGNATZ (K-Raak). The band will also celebrate Capsule’s 10th birthday in Birmingham on 2nd December as well as making a stop at the ATP festival.
The first UK shows in nearly 2 years, SIX ORGANS OF ADMITTANCE will feature the expanded line-up of drummer Alex Neilson (Trembling Bells, Current 93) and – for their London show only - Elisa Ambrogio of Magik Markers.
With his most recent album Luminous Night, Chasny travels down the path of ancient, Gnostic psychedelia lightened and augmented by a lushness and sense of optimism, which touches upon the euphoric. Join him.
