The Bush Doctors are the new incarnation for a pair of notorious and highly-renowned producers behind two of the most influential indie electronica labels of the last decade. Taking their influence from a shared devotion to ‘70s funk and disco, they have bravely eschewed the current obsession with tempo and instead have placed their faith the “the good groove”.
Rockin’ on a Speaker is the first hypnotic and chunky groover, underpinned by a deliciously relentless rollin’ b-line at a steamy but steady boot-thumping tempo. Space Hoppa takes on a more twisted disco flavour that just builds and builds.
