The Wonder Stuff have been announced as playing the Main Stage on the Friday night of
Bearded Theory which takes place from
Friday 14 to Sunday 16 May 2010.
Hailing from the West Midlands, the band gathered a following during the late '80s with the release of 'The Eight Legged Groove Machine' and 'Hup'. The group found chart success after their third album 'Never Loved Elvis' in 1991 with 'The Size of a Cow' and 'Dizzy'. The band went their separate ways in 1994 only to reform seven years later and are sure to play their old classics, along with new material to the bearded faithful.
The Wonderstuff will join the previously announced Friday acts the King Blues, Dodgy, Subgiant, Eskimo Fires and AOS3. This is the final Main Stage announcement for this May's festival.
The festival boasts a one acre children village, three real ale bars, five stages, world food emporium, chill out areas, busk stops, over 100 artistes, site art, large craft and creative art area, walkabouts and finally a huge laser and firework finale to celebrate the new decade.
