The Frontier Touring Company is pleased to announce that due to high demand, an additional show for The Dead Weather in Canberra has been added.
The band will take the stage at the Australian National University’s ANU Bar on Thursday 25 March, supported by New Zealand punk band Street Chant, who will open for all shows on the tour.
The Dead Weather’s debut album Horehound is listed on numerous Top 10 albums of 2009 lists, including that of US Spin Magazine, and has received nothing short of positive reviews from rock enthusiasts and critics alike.
Comprised of Alison Mosshart of The Kills on lead vocals, Jack White, originally of The White Stripes, behind the drums, White’s Raconteur bandmate Jack Lawrence on bass and former Raconteur Dean Fertita, also of Queens of the Stone Age, on guitar. This magnificent rock ensemble is not to be missed.
Tickets for the Canberra show will be on sale from Friday 19 February. All other shows are on sale now with the exception of the first Melbourne show which is sold out.
