EMI Music and Grammy Award winning DJ/Producer David Guetta will launch the first official David Guetta iPhone and iPod Touch application in the U.S. on March. 2nd. Through the app fans can follow David as he moves from city to city around the world, receive an ongoing feed of updates, photos, videos and tweets directly from David. The app also contains innovate features such as Tour Tracker, an interactive world map that allows fans to see in real time where David is mixing and DJing. Tour tracker enables fans to connect by sharing their own location, pictures and comments on Guetta's DJ sets from around the globe. The app also contains an additional feature developed by the leading interactive music solution company MXP4 which transforms the iPhone and iPod Touch into a miniature mixing deck, allowing fans to remix and play with Guetta's smash "Sexy Bitch" featuring Akon. The app has been developed by Redshift, a technology company specialized in creating high-end mobile platforms and will be available for $1.99 at the iTunes store. David Guetta picked up his first Grammy Award last month for Best Remixed Recording for his remix "When Love Takes Over" with Kelly Rowland. Guetta will return to the United States this week to open for the Black Eyed Peas on Feb. 23 in Washington D.C. and on Feb. 24th in NYC. He will also play DJ sets at clubs Fur in DC and Pacha in NYC on those nights. Guetta will be back later this spring two shows at this year's Winter Music Conference, Ultra on March 26th and his F*** Me I'm Famous party at Mansion on March 27th and will play Coachella on April 17th (full Schedule Below).
"Sexy Bitch" is currently #3 at top 40 radio and has sold over 2.1 million singles in the U.S. Worldwide single sales top 6 million between "Sexy Bitch" and "When Love Takes Over." The album 'One Love' is nearing 100,000 sales in the states with over 1 million sold worldwide.
