Brooklyn experimentalists EXTRA LIFE will embark on a month-long cross-country North American tour, kicking things off in NYC tomorrow! Extra Life is fronted by Charlie Looker, former member of brutal chamber pop heavyweights Zs and name brand in the New York experimental underground in his own right, having collaborated with Dirty Projectors, Glenn Branca, William Parker and the S.E.M. Ensemble, among others. The tour is in support of their forthcoming album, Made Flesh, out March 30 on LOAF recordings. Their engaging blend of Medieval chant, metallic hardcore, dark neofolk, abstract modernism, and lush pop is sure to shake you out of the winter blues. Be sure to catch them along the way!
