The Whigs are proud to announce a number of upcoming events as they gear up for the release of their new album, IN THE DARK, out March 16th on ATO Records. Known for their enthralling live show, the Athens, GA trio are currently on tour with Black Rebel Motorcycle Club introducing fans to new material, which Filter Magazine has already hailed for "artfully combining the disenchanted swagger of '70s punk with the infectious, catchy bounce of '60s pop" and Maxim Magazine simply called "riff-tastic." On April 1st, The Whigs will make their return to The Late Show with David Letterman and will premiere raucous first single, KILL ME CAROLYNE. The song which brings a memorable strength to this exciting new collection, is now available for free download on the bands official website - The Whigs - In The Dark - Store. Following a co-headlining tour with the Band Of Skulls that starts March 31st, The Whigs will make their Late Night with Jimmy Fallon debut April 27th.
