Plants and Animals Announce U.S. Tour & SXSW Schedule, Release New Video For The Mama

Plants and Animals’ sophomore album, La La Land, will be released April 20th on Secret City Records. The band has much in the works leading up to this release – a striking new video for the new single “The Mama Papa,” several shows at SXSW, and a complete North American tour which will take the band through all the major cities and beyond. The full rundown is below.
“The Mama Papa” The brand new video for “The Mama Papa” was directed and conceived by Sinbad Richardson, a young Montreal filmmaker. It stars Plants and Animals, as well as childhood friend, Joe Cobden, an actor who has appeared in I’m Not There, Blindness, The Aviator, and more.
La La Land Tracklisting From the epic and instantly engaging “Undone Melody”, to the coastal dance vibes of “Kon Tiki”, and the over-the-top rock sax solo on “American Idol” (courtesy of Arcade Fire horn player Colin Stetson), there’s something for everyone on La La Land, but somehow the album still feels seamless.
