HBO's Ice Cream Truck Celebrating The Pee-wee Herman Show on Broadway Comes To Austin

To celebrate HBO’s upcoming broadcast of The Pee-wee Herman Show on Broadway, screening at SXSW on Saturday, 3/12 at 4 PM CST, a special, customized Pee-wee Herman Show on Broadway truck will be distributing free ice cream to the public in Austin, Texas during SXSW. The truck will be making special appearances this weekend from Friday through Sunday during the day. The truck will be easily recognizable to fans of The Pee-wee Herman Show, and will be parked in various locations in downtown Austin during the weekend.

Pee-wee Herman himself (@peeweeherman) will be tweeting out the location of the truck and special activities throughout the weekend of 3/12 and 3/13, so fans can follow @peeweeherman on Twitter or Facebook for up-to-date information. The Pee-wee Herman Show on Broadway will be screening at the State Theater on Saturday, March 12 at 4pm, and Paul Reubens will be speaking on a SXSW panel on Sunday March 13th. Keep an eye out for the truck around the downtown Austin area surrounding the SXSW Interactive Festival.

The Pee-wee Herman Show on Broadway will premiere on HBO on Saturday March 19th at 10pm.
