RCRD LBL Premieres P Smoov of Mad Rad & Fresh Espresso's Bass-Heavy Make Over of Brent Amaker & the Rodeo

Continuing their attempts to infiltrate scenes & worlds outsiders may not instanly associate them with, Brent Amaker & the Rodeo have enlisted fellow Seattle-ite P Smoov from electro/party time groups Mad Rad and Fresh Espresso to remix "Johnny's Theme," the opening track from last year's cult classic full length Please Stand By.

In addition, Tuesday May 24th is the release date for the brand new Captain of the Ship 7" on Spark & Shine Records, which includes the title track and a b-side, with the digital version including the P Smoov remix. The new tracks were recorded by Seattle producer Gary Reynolds at Electrokitty Studios, who recorded the tracks directly to tape before taking them to vinyl, with no digital inhancements. The official record release show is in Los Angeles on Friday May 20th , at the Redwood Bar & Grill. With Please Stand By just released in Europe, Brent Amaker & the Rodeo will soon be taking their live show overseas, and then back on the road in North American later this year. Stay tuned!
