With mixtape number two ready to blast us into the New Year, the crew have just released three stellar tracks that will have you begging for more from the upcoming album titled Sorry, We Don’t High-bernate. In this trifecta of awesome, you’ll be treated to the Rugrats theme sampled “Hi My Name’s Mike Freestyle,” followed by heavy hitters, “Bang Urself,” and “Dunkin Donuts Anthem,” which will soon be making waves and breaking new ground. With DJ Phoecus behind the turntables and Mizzy the WildChild freestyling on the mic, the duo will soon be taking over headphones and stereos throughout the country. NEIGHBORHOOD CHILDREN have also teamed up with fellow Jersey crew, The Nub Revolution, to be the soundtrack to their latest video compilation of tricks, stunts and hospital visits with Watch the Nuborhood. For fans of Jackass, this is a whole new generation and level of D.I.Y. stunts with “Bang Urself,” and “Dunkin Donuts Anthem,” as the accompanying music. The perfect combination.

DJ Phoecus and Mizzy the WildChild are no strangers to music. Phoecus began DJing around Atlantic City which landed him a spot in radio promotions for Kanye West’s label and management companies (G.O.O.D./ Hustle Period) and also a stint at Violator (Diddy, 50 Cent, LL Cool J, Swizz Beats), where Phoecus had the opportunity to learn from the best in the busisiness. DJing at some of the hottest venues in New York, all the focus was on Phoecus. Meeting up with Mizzy the WildChild, a young MC with a strong buzz, Phoecus took him under his wing. With that guidance and comradery, NEIGHBORHOOD CHILDEN was born.
That’s not all….Lucky New York and New Jersey fans have the opportunity to catch NEIGHBORHOOD CHILDREN at two area performances in the coming weeks. You can help them ring in the New Year at Big Bouys on December 31st and then catch them on January 11th at the Empire Rooftop in New York City.
