Chicago trio, volcano!, are set to release the long-awaited follow-up to 2008’s celebrated Paperwork album.
Four years in the making, their third offering, titled Pinata, will be released on June 12 on the Leaf Label.
Clocking in at just over 40 minutes, frontman, Aaron With, describes the album’s aggressive and unpredictable nature: “They're mainly based on weird fantasies. Our goal was to tell stories with strange but universal sentiments.”
