John Taglieri's new Lucky #9 Ep has proven to be aptly titled as it rocketed into the #67 slot in Amazon's Adult Alternative chart and rose steadily throughout the day to the #20 position alongside Green Day, the Dave Matthews Band, Tracy Chapman, Matchbox 20 and OK Go, amongst other gold and platinum selling artists. The record also hit the #2 mark in "Hot New Releases."
"I'd like to say I'm surprised but c'mon now!", says Taglieri laughingly. "Seriously, though, I'm truly humbled and honoured to see it do this well. It's nice to see that after twelve years and nine releases I'm still relevant and can make music that people still want to hear."
John is currently touring as a member of Joe Bachman's band.
  • On May 3,5 and 6 John can be seen performing his own set at Irish Kevin's in Key West, FL.
