The streets have always been a massive part of this young artist’s life, who first caught the attention from his management company whilst busking in his home town Belfast shortly after an incident where the local “riff raff” showed their appreciation by kindly slinging pound coins at his head.

Only a matter of days after the bandages were removed Owen was invited into the studio with American producer Tre Sheppard and recorded new single ‘Someone Else’ which has been picking up radio plays across Europe, LA and New York and Radio One this spring.

Owen Says:
“I’m really excited to be playing these shows in London; I may even do some spontaneous busking whilst in the city. I’ve had some weird experiences whilst busking in the past. One old woman would come round and steal money from my case most days, and a Russian man on a bicycle offer me advice for a full day, some of which was crazy but some I still use to this day!!”
Owen Mcgarry’s debut single ‘Someone Else’ is released on Wednesday 5th June
