Scissor Sisters’ eclectic album of assorted perfect summer hits, Magic Hour, is out TODAY on Polydor! As their fourth full length LP hits the shops, the band have added a 2nd London Roundhouse show to their October tour due to overwhelming demand since their announcement last week.
In support of the new album, Scissor Sisters will be meeting fans to sign copies of Magic Hour this evening. They will be at HMV London, 150 Oxford Street W1 from 6pm. More info click here.
Tomorrow, May 29th, they will also be answering questions from fans in their first ever live twitter chat from 9pm GMT. Questions can be submitted using the #MagicHour hash tag or on Facebook.
Last Friday’s appearance on The Graham Norton Show saw Scissor Sisters premiere the next single to be released from the album, ‘Baby Come Home’.
If you missed it you can watch the performance here:
The release of Magic Hour follows the euphoric Calvin Harris-produced single ‘Only The Horses’, which hit the charts following Scissor Sisters’ live performance on The Voice and two intimate sold out shows at Shepherd’s Bush Empire.
Magic Hour is the result of a series of team-ups between Scissor Sisters - Shears, Babydaddy, Ana Matronic and Del Marquis - and a whole host of stellar artists, writers and producers, including Azealia Banks, Calvin Harris, Stuart Price, Pharrell Williams, Diplo andAlex Rihda, the German electronic music producer and DJ behind BoysNoize.
