Fan favorite Vaya contains their much-performed tracks "Rascuache" and "198d", and was first released in 1999, sparking At The Drive-In's rapid rise to prominence. The first pressing of this record in 12 years, the release comes in addition to the previously announced 500 copies of Vaya on yellow 10", sold exclusively at Coachella Music & Arts Festival this past spring.
AT THE DRIVE-IN - Cedric Bixler-Zavala (Vocals), Jim Ward (Guitar), Omar Rodriguez-Lopez (Guitar), Pail Hinojos (Bass), Tony Hajjar (Drums) - was born in the summer of '94, formed from the ashes of two El Paso, Texas' most popular underground bands. The band went on to become one of the most influencial rock acts of the 90's, releasing albums Acrobatic Tenement (1996), In/Casino/Out (1998), and their highly-acclaimed final album, Relationship of Command (2000), now regarded as one of the most influential rock albums of the decade. Relationship of Command received a number of accolades including being named as one of Spin Magazine's 100 Greatest Albums 1985-2005, as well as number 90 on MTV2's greatest albums ever list. The album also spawned the single "One Armed Scissor", which climbed to #26 on the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart, ranked at #1 on Alternative Press' top 100 singles of the 2000's.
