LA electronic duo Nguzunguzu unveil a peek into their upcoming debut outing on Hippos In Tanks, Warm Pulse. "Delirium", the first new music from Nguzunguzu we've heard in awhile, is wholly worth the wait hinting at the EP's foray into new darker territory. The shadows of Philip Glass and The X-Files watch over Warm Pulse, resulting in a deadly combination of grace and paranoia. A pyromaniacal tension stalks its five tracks, threading together the uneasy themes swimming beneath its many shiny, fractured surfaces: violent attacks, overdoses, smoke-filled rooms and out-of-body experiences.
