Reebok Classics have underlined their commitment to fresh new music with the launch of Reebok Radio, a national pop-up radio station anchored by ‘voice of the underground sound’ Goldierocks and dedicated to broadcasting groundbreaking and emerging artists in 2012 and beyond.
Reebok Radio was launched On June 10th at this year’s Parklife Festival in Manchester featuring the likes of The Rapture, Ghostpoet , Murkage and Dot Rotton, providing exclusive interviews, views and musical insight as well as a selection of tracks fresh out of Goldierocks hip pocket! The launch precedes a UK Tour of major city residencies throughout 2012.
Reebok Radio is pleased to announce a hot off the press exclusive FREE download of CAAN’s new single ‘Into The Night’, taken from his forthcoming album. The track sleekly melds 2-step beats, cavernous bass, droning synths and strings to a luscious blockbuster pop chorus. Caan Capan, formerly of Ou Est Le Swimming Pool has also teamed up with Reebok Classics to produce some really exciting audio/ visual content more of which will be revealed later in the year.

International DJ Goldierocks combines her presenting skills with a knack for spotting fresh talent. The TV/radio broadcaster will be DJ’ing at the official Reebok Radio after-parties and has put together a Parklife playlist available from www.mixcloud.com/reebokclassics which includes tracks from Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Simian Mobile Disco, Joy Orbison and Tensnake.
Other artists supporting Reebok Radio include, Benji Boko and Tricity who will be contributing exclusive content throughout the year and also performing at the final show of the year on the Reebok Radio pop up tour. Having these up and coming acts on-board underlines Reeboks Radio’s commitment to promote grass roots talent.
