The Australian-British drum and bass/rock amalgamation, Pendulum have seemingly decided to call it quits.
Instrumentalist Rob Swire has been touring with Knife Party and announced over Twitter that his former group will no longer be performing together, “There will be no further Pendulum live shows. There are no currents plans for a new album in 2013”.
This does not necessarily mean that Pendulum will not return at some point, but the innovative dance rockers will certainly not be performing together for the foreseeable future.
The group rose to fame in 2004 after a move to the UK but their second album In Silico launched them in to the mainstream in 2008. The release of their single ‘Propane Nightmares’ which reached the top 10 in the UK Singles Chart and since then they have had one other top 10, ‘Watercolour’ in 2010.
