Rapper Tito Lopez will be hitting the road this summer with chart-topping artist and fellow Mississippian Big K.R.I.T. The 26-city jaunt kicks off July 11th at St. Andrews Hall in Detroit, Michigan and concludes August 12th at The Ritz in Ybor City, Florida.
“I'm extremely excited and proud to be a part of this tour.” Lopez says of his first national tour. “I'm even more proud that Mississippi is being represented so well. K.R.I.T. and myself are looking forward to sharing our music with people throughout the country.”
The nationwide tour with K.R.I.T. comes as Lopez earns a steady stream of accolades for his high-impact performances and lyrical acumen. With Dr. Dre, Sway, David Banner, Organized Noize and many other music industry luminaries among the chatter. Lopez’s forthcoming album was named one of the Most Anticipated Projects of 2012 by The Source.

The press has been equally effusive in its praise for Lopez, whose stirring “Mama Proud” video has more than 460K views on VEVO. The video, set in a run-down suburban neighborhood, displays Lopez’s pride in his roots and his passionate pursuit of success.
