Remember Spike Island? Or were you at The Roses on Glasgow Green? Perhaps you watching Fools Gold on TOTP in 1989 or the BBC’s eponymous The Late Show Live when the power failed mid-performance? This Friday will see the press and public discuss fond anecdotes and hazy memories of the Madchester era, in the band’s long awaited come-back gigs at Heaton Park.
