A very special month long multi media collective exhibition The Impossible Heap comes to Galerie8 in Hackney, showcasing over 12 of today's brightest artists, running throughout the Olympic month and Free for all.
Bringing together a selection of artists aiming to ripple the surface of the quotidian, it features new work that revisits traditional media through experimental processes: painting, sculpture, drawing, assemblage, collage, performance, video, and a wide range of activities are reconsidered in imaginative ways.
Other projects, such as Price & Mann’s billboard interventions and Sarah Pager’s window installation on the façade of the building will see work taken outside of the gallery setting.
Artists showcasing:
Free and open to the public from: 19 July - 26 August.
