Belgian singer-songwriter and European sensation Milow has premiered a live video for infectious song 'One of It' today on ArtistDirect.com.
Tomorrow, July 10th, brings the release of his Born In The Eighties EP, Milow’s first Stateside release. The 6-song EP will be available at all digital retailers and the version available on the iTunes Store will include a 7th song – the melodically evocative lead single 'You Don’t Know.' That song will also be released July 10th as a single on all other digital retailers. A physical release date for the 7-track EP has been set for August 14th.
Milow has emerged as one of Europe’s most exciting break-out artists over the past five years and now U.S. music fans will get to see why. Gleaming with the inherited songcraft of his musical heroes—Ryan Adams, Bruce Springsteen, Jack Johnson—Milow’s music also reflects a point of view and impressive talent all his own. In Europe he's enjoyed multiple #1s with gold and platinum status and racked up a slew of music awards, including 11 Music Industry Awards (Belgium’s music awards). His eye-popping video for 'Ayo Technology' has amassed more than 65 million YouTube views. The stripped-down, slow-burning take on the 50 Cent/Justin Timberlake hit proves that he has the chops to both invent and re-invent. The song stayed on the charts for 26 weeks in 14 different countries, reaching #1 in several of them.
Earlier this year he made his U.S. television debut on NBC’s Last Call with Carson Daly and completed a popular residency at LA's Hotel Café. Milow has shared the stage with Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz, Brett Dennen andPaolo Nutini.
