Rockie approaches his music with an alternative rock mentality that's been noticed by both major labels and recording artists including Patrick Stump of Fall Out Boy. After seeing Rockie perform at the 2011 Bamboozle Festival in New Jersey, Stump asked Rockie to support as the opening act on a 40-plus city national tour. After being introduced to multi-platinum selling Benji and Joel Madden of Good Charlotte, the Madden brothers began working with Rockie and featured him on their mixtape project released October 2011 called Before The Fame: The Madden Brothers.

Rockie announced on MTV earlier this month that he's finishing work on his next mixtape project, Electric Highway, that will contain all original music. He's aiming to release Electric Highway while on his national tour this Fall.
