As The Darkness prepare for worldwide domination with the forthcoming release of their highly anticipated third studio album Hot Cakes and a world tour, the group will premiere the brand new 'Street Spirit' exclusively today on Pitchfork. Due out August 21 on Wind-up (North & South America) and PIAS (UK and rest of the world), Hot Cakes was produced by the band’s Justin and Dan Haekins with long-time collaborator Nick Brine and mixed by Bob Ezrin. The resulting 11-song cycle delivers the epic rock anthems and infectious pop choruses the multi-platinum band has become renowned for worldwide. The group’s raucous first single 'Everybody Have A Good Time' is set to impact radio today, Tuesday, July 24.
