Online Music Awards are proud to announce that Jermaine Jackson will be introducing this year’s e-vent!
Online Music Awards Founder Chris Mitchell said: “I am absolutely delighted to have Jermaine involved, I grew up as a massive fan of the Jackson 5 and the entire Jackson family, to have such a big name star introduce our online ceremony is certainly a big moment for the entire Online Music Awards. “
Last year’s awards saw the likes of Tim Westwood, Roll Deep and Ace of Base announce nominees with Chilli from TLC also recording a message of support, winners went on to appear on local and national radio shows including BBC Radio 1. Online Music Awards 2012 looks set to be even bigger with the addition of a prize package for each winner including items courtesy of category sponsors such as SanDisk and Blue Microphones. New categories have also been launched for 2012 such as the Best British Act category sponsored by Dragon Soop.
Online Music Awards 2012 are in aid of UK based charity War Child and winners will be announced in October. Entries are currently being accepted until September 10th and the general public can nominate their favourite unsigned bands and artists over the age of 18 via www.onlinemusicawards.org.
