Spread the Social Love:
Northern California metal act Defiler have teamed with PledgeMusic to raise funds for a new tour van. The band’s old van was destroyed during their last tour, leaving the band stranded and forced to cancel shows on their short headlining run. Defiler is hoping to raise enough money to get them back on the road this fall in support of their upcoming studio album. A portion of all funds raised will go to MusiCares | GRAMMY.org, established by The National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences in 1989 as a place for musicians to turn to in times of financial, personal, or medical crisis, primarily focusing the resources and attention of the music industry on human service issues which directly impact the health and welfare of the music community.
Defiler recently finished recording their Razor & Tie debut which will be released later this fall. The band self-produced the record with mixing duties being handled by Chris “Zeuss” Harris (Suicide Silence, Chelsea Grin, The Acacia Strain). More information on the album will be released shortly.
They have also made new track 'Lucky 38' available for preview.
