Ron Pope announced today his 'Across the Yard' Fall 2012 tour, which will span over 40 cities nationwide, and kick off in Syracuse, New York on September 5, 2012. The tour, which will be Ron Pope’s fourth national tour since his first solo tour in 2011, celebrates the release of 'Atlanta: The Deluxe Edition', set to be released September 18, 2012. 'Atlanta: The Deluxe Edition' will feature all the songs from the original digital release [released April 2012], plus bonus tracks 'Sometimes', 'About the Rain', two remixes of 'One Grain of Sand' and a special acoustic version of 'Atlanta'. The album showcases Ron Pope at his best, armed with a full band, songs that sing his stories and a skillful blend of folk and rock and roll. Openers on the tour include Meghan Tonjes and Jesse Ruben, with more special guests to be announced soon.

His single, 'A Drop in the Ocean' had started to make waves in the music scene, garnering the attention of MTV, music labels, and hundreds of thousands of fans who started to buy his music online.
