CatalogoMX is a platform of more than 30 independent record labels, all of them diverse and from different parts of México. This project is an open window to the underground musical culture of México.
Mexico, like many parts of the world, is undergoing profound changes and at the same time is equal to any global musical flow. CatalogoMX is also a manifest, with the objective of promoting the work of independent Mexican music producers and to insert them in an international circuit of musical negotiations.
The means of production and distribution have been democratized and it is within this context that CatalogoMX is an open platform of musical content to be explored, shared and remixed.
CatálogoMX es la unión de varias disqueras independientes de diversos géneros musicales y de distintas partes de la República Mexicana. Este proyecto pretende ser una ventana a la cultura músical subterránea de este país.
México atraviesa momentos de profundos cambios y se empata al mismo tiempo y en diferentes momentos ante las tendencias musicales de cualquier parte. CatálogoMX también es un manifiesto, cuya objetivo es difundir el trabajo de productores independientes de Mexico e insertarse en un circuito internacional de negociaciones musicales.
Los medios de producción y distribución musical se democratizan, y en este contexto CatálogoMX pretende ser una plataforma abierta de contenidos musicales para ser explorados, compartidos y reinterpretados.
