Brooklyn based Floridians Cari Rae & Jordy Asher have been riding a wave of acclaim since the release of their full length debut ' The Bad Ones' on August 7th. The follow up to their Dark Roots EP, the Nicholas Vernhes produced debut album has seen the duo win fans due to the femme-fatale vocal stylings of Cari Rae and prodigious musical ability of Jordy Asher.
The band have released live footage of them performing 'Gospel Kid' at a recent gig. Very much an anomaly on the album, this is the only track that features Asher on lead vocals, lending to the song taking on a feel that has been described as "one or two instruments short of an Arcade Fire track". The duo have been praised for an otherwordly live presence and their ability to conjure a ethereal atmosphere - Check out the video below and see just why Blonds are becoming one of the hottest tickets around.
