American pop punk legends Green Day have announced an intimate show this Thursday (August 23rd) at London's Shepherd's Bush Empire.
The band, who have just played Summer Sonic Festival in Japan have penciled in a one off UK date before heading off to Europe for some more shows and festivals.
Green Day, consisting of Billie Joe Armstrong, Tre Cool and Mike Dirnt haven't played a UK show since their massive Wembley Stadium gig in June 2010. So what a treat they're giving those living in London! Tickets will go on sale tomorrow (August 21st) at 9am for members of Green Day's fan club, and on general sale from midday.
Green Day will release ¡Uno! the first of their three part trilogy, ¡Uno! ¡Dos! ¡Tré! on September 24th 2012. ¡Dos! will be released November 12 2012, and ¡Tré! will be released January 14th 2013 in the UK.
The band recently premiered the music video to first singled 'Oh Love'.
