The release of their debut album, Live Before You Die, in 2009 marked Sondura out as a band to watch on the UK metal scene after receiving glowing reviews from Metal Hammer and Rock Sound for their tightly packed album of hook-filled and hard-biting melodic metal. This EP offers the chance for those unfamiliar with the band to get a taste for where they've come from – through older tracks 'Live Before You Die', 'Falling Free' and 'Black & White' - while new songs 'You Remain' and 'New Beginning'sgive an idea of what to expect from their second album, which is due to be released in Spring 2013.

Sondura are currently building on the foundations they’ve laid with their debut by working with the renowned production duo of Matt Bond and Martyn ‘Ginge’ Ford (Bullet For My Valentine, Trivium and Axewound) at Nott In Pill Studios in Wales. Given the band’s ability to write songs designed to entertain a stadium-packed audience, their sophomore effort looks set to establish them as one of the UK’s best hopes for major international success.
An experienced live band, they already have numerous festival appearances under their belt including slots at Download, Bloodstock, Hammerfest and The Isle Of Wight Festival, where their relentless performances always deliver the energy and swagger you’d expect from a band who, despite their fledgling status, already sound like classic rock giants.
Sondura will be playing shows around the country later this year; dates are due to be announced shortly. They release the You Remain EP through their own label, Hardsound Records, on October 22nd.
