Sweet Billy Pilgrim last night played the first of a very special series of nights at The Alexandra in Muswell Hill. A venue with a long and illustrious association with rock and roll through the years, it’s one of the finest music pubs in North London, and will host FREE performances by Sweet Billy Pilgrim for six weeks.

Lead singer Tim Elsenburg explains, “We decided to find a nice little venue, break out the acoustic guitars and the banjo and bring back the idea of the 'residency', where we get to play weekly, make new friends, have a regular place to meet old ones, and just play.”

The acoustic residency runs every Thursday from last night’s secret fanclub launch through to the final show on 4th October and will see the band play songs from their massively acclaimed third album Crown And Treaty, released earlier this year. There will also be acoustic versions of previous tracks and some surprises... including a range of special guests who may just pop-up un-announced and join the band on a song or two!

Sweet Billy Pilgrim
have also revealed their brand new video for the track ‘Blakefield Gold’, shot on the road this summer as they travelled around UK and Europe playing shows far and wide.

A vignette of their life ‘on the road’ it can be viewed here:
