The new EP was worked on by acclaimed producer Matt Elliss (Black Spiders, Terrorvision etc), and showcases a band with a broad appeal and a truly captivating sound.

The four piece have spent the last several years developing a distinctly British style of rock. Slinky guitars, impassioned vocals and a groove that lays claim to 50 years of rock 'n roll heritage meld together to create something powerful. Emotive in the extreme and with a sound that bridges every type of guitar music imaginable, the core of their sound is a pulsating melody combined with raw, bluesy riffing. Steeped in swagger their songs flex and pound in equal measure.

Lead off video single 'Live To Be Alive' takes a haunting, breathy refrain and builds into an enormous chorus before a pounding finale sees the song out in style. With over FIVE AND A HALF THOUSAND views on YouTube and soon to be all over your screens on Kerrang TV, check it out for yourself here

LAVELLION have also displayed a beautifully modern take on self promotion, already building an impressive 20,000+ followers on Facebook, Twitter and MySpace. They have also enjoyed high profile tours with the likes of The Virignmary's, Voodoo Six, Marseille and Voodoo Johnson. Add in previous singles achieving playlisting on Kerrang Radio, BBC Introducing and Total Rock Radio and you have a band achieving great things on their own terms.

Indeed the band undertook over 150 gigs last year, even finding time to be invited down to Maida Vale and Abbey Road Studios by the BBC as part of their BBC Introducing Masterclass event.
