Joyce Muniz is a Vienna-based, Brazilian DJ, vocalist and producer. Joyce Muniz was introduced to us by Maya Jane Coles. Joyce Muniz is currently one of the leaders of a new style which fuses European club sounds with rhythmic influences from South America and the Caribbean. She has collaborated with Stereotyp, Louie Austen and Munk, and her solo outings for Exploited have been getting rave reviews.


Her debut 2020 EP could well be her best set of tracks yet and sees her collaborating with Knixx for a classic slice of deep, vocal house in the title track 'Drop In Pressure'. Joyce Muniz is also on hand with a couple of bonus underground versions (digital release only) of this track in the sleazier Purple Hills mix and the stripped down Mystic Dub. She flexes her production muscles further on a couple of excellent melodic, dubby club tracks on 'Wanna Be There' and 'Calm Before The Storm' which both showcase her smooth house styles.
