Coves are to play for All Tomorrow’s Parties new weekly gig series on Monday 29 October 2012 at The Sebright Arms. ATP will work collaboratively with Coves to put on a night featuring art installations, films, DJs and a live performance from the band themselves.

Having only formed last year in Leamington Spa, singer Rebekah Wood and multi-instrumentalist John Rigard were hand picked by Echo & the Bunnymen as their main tour support. They have also played shows with Hooray For Earth, Binary and remixed Post War Years.

The reaction to their EP, Cast A Shadow, was received with high praise and leading radio support. Coves can count the likes of BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe, Huw Stephens and Nick Grimshaw as fans. The band will be in session on for Lauren Laverne on 6Music on October 9th.

To celebrate their upcoming live dates, Coves are giving away their slow burning, hazy cover of Chris Isaak’s ‘Wicked Game’.

The London show will follow the release of their single, ‘No Ladder,’ which comes out on October 8th through Cross Keys Records.
