Continuing along the build up towards their upcoming album Blue In The Face, Verbal Contact have enlisted the help of current blog-favourite, producer Distinction, who has put his own spin on the already outstanding Lunar C-featured single ‘Get Got,’ really hitting home on how strong the West Yorkshire movement is right now!
Fresh off his recent overwhelmingly well received Frank Ocean and Usher refixes (the first of which was placed at number 3 on US blog Pigeons and Planes’ ‘Top Ten Frank Ocean Refixes’) Distinction brings his dark, trippy soundscape to Matter, Prys and Lunar’s impressive flow-switching bars, making it an entirely different listening experience to the excellent Sonar Cousin-produced original. The track acts as the first single from a remix EP that the group plan to drop as a free download shortly after the release of their album.
With highly anticipated projects dropping very soon from both Verbal Contact and Distinction, as well as Lunar C’s critically acclaimed new mixtape Sewer Side Sex having dropped just last week, you couldn’t get a more relevant and exciting combination of artists on a remix than this!
