As a band celebrated for creating fearlessly innovative music, PVT are excited to be entering into a brand new stage with the announcement of the first single from their upcoming fourth studio album, new label signings, and world tours.

PVTs new album is to be titled Homosapien, a powerful body of work built upon the concept of the human condition. Its first single, Nightfall, stays true to their driving impulse to create new, genre-defying music. While incorporating throbbing vintage drum machines and found-sound samples, we see vocals take on a greater importance than ever before. Nightfall is released digitally October 23rd in North America and the rest of the world on October 22nd. The single premiered today via Stereogum.
Adding to the momentum taking shape in the lead up to the release of Homosapien is the wonderful news that PVT have signed on with the highly respected labels Create/Control (ANZ) and Felte (ROW ex. France). Felte recently released the self-titled album by Brooklyn-based band ERAAS.
PVT are also thrilled to announce that they will be adding new shows to their intense world touring schedule, joining Gotye for a selection of his European dates and playing headline shows in UK and Europe this November. They are set to perform their new material for the first time internationally including the recently leaked opening track from the album, entitled Shiver. Floating and arresting, Shiver offers an enticing insight into the bands new body of work, along with its captivating video clip directed by Australian filmmaker Tex Crick. PVT has a handful of remaining US tour dates with Menomena as well.
