London alternative pop maestros Amusement have released a brand new track in the form of 'King Of The World' in the run-up to their forthcoming live return at The Lock Tavern, Camden, London on 21st October, with Yola Fatoush and more.
Having built up a reputation as a bedroom production duo throughout the year with a series of acclaimed remixes for the likes of Outfit, Disclosure and Theme Park, founding duo Andrew Smith and Joe Sigee have developed Amusement into a fully-fledged live tour de force with the inclusion of drummer Ulysses Alvarez and bassist Holly Hardy and release 'King Of The World' to showcase their evolved sound to a fresh audience and with a refreshed sonic palette.
'King Of The World' displays this striking development in Amusement's sound to full effect. Smith and Sigee's dual vocal patterns weave romantically around a lurching, nostalgic, near-Badalamenti bass groove as the track breaks into a salacious sweat of driving drum patterns, interstellar synthesisers and a melancholic drama of a chorus.
'King Of The World' is available for free download now.
