Red Huxley are proud to launch their debut music video for the single 'My Own Way', filmed and directed by Motion City Films, which, on the back of its Black Keys meets Led Zeppelin sound, takes you on a journey through the desert and leaves you wanting more:

The video was shot over an intense and very cold weekend out in the dessert of the Klein Karoo, South Africa. And while most people were covered in 4 Layers of clothing, 2 smokin’ hot girls were working their asses of to make the shots look great. They had to roll a massive cable spool, laying cable across the desert, for most of the weekend. The determination they had towards making the shots look great translates amazingly on camera into their determination to reach the band, who are set up in an old hall. Thanks to Motion City Films the video turned out great and puts picture to sound as it captures the intensity and space in the song so well.

Red Huxley is a band made up of raw guitars, raw vocals, loud crashing drums and high energy coupled with a bluesy soul. The trio from Cape Town, South Africa; with Dylan Jones on guitar, Matthew Pullen on bass, and Murray Stephenson on drums, have been gigging around the city after the release of a 4 track EP in early 2010. With a lighter garage blues side similar to early Black Keys and late 60’s Stones records to a much heavier rock sound reminiscent of Led Zeppelin, Foo Fighters, and Queens of the Stone Age, Red Huxley’s sound is difficult to place within a single genre.

With an expanding sound and an increasing fan base, Red Huxley will make their assault on the world and aim to play all the festivals and venues they can.
