To celebrate the release of his new single Help Me the Prince of Grime, Tinchy Stryder, has announced a special appearance at Under The Bridge in West London on Thursday 1st November. For one night only in London Tinchy will perform past hits alongside showcasing exclusive new material from his forthcoming studio album.


Kwasi Danquah (born 10 June 1987), better known by his stage name Tinchy Stryder, is a British pop rap vocalist of Ghanaian origin. Stryder is from Bow, East London and attended St Bonaventure's Catholic Comprehensive School in Forest Gate, Newham; he later enrolled as a student at the local university, the University of East London, where he completed his BA degree in moving image and animation in 2009. He had his first UK number one with the song named 'Take Me Back', featuring Taio Cruz, which rose 3 places for one week. He then swiftly overtook this song by releasing the aptly named song "Number 1", a collaboration with N-Dubz, that charted on 26 April 2009. He has recorded and released three solo studio albums, Star in the Hood (2007), Catch 22 (2009), and Third Strike (2010).

Tinchy is also a music executive, A&R executive, investor, and businessman. He is the co-founder and co-chief executive officer (CEO) of Takeover Roc Nation, a business deal that allies Tinchy Stryders Takeover Entertainment Ltd with Jay-Zs Roc Nation. His non-music business ventures include the clothing line Star in the Hood, among others. He is also the president and chief executive of Takeover/Cloud 9 (music publishing company through EMI Music Publishing), and he currently serves as the Chairman and A&R executive of Takeover Entertainment Limited.
