Continuing on the road Kansas City rockers Black Oxygen will this week wrap up a trek of dates with Taproot and kick off a few with Hawthorne Heights (Nov. 8 – Nov. 11) followed by a yearend tour with Hurt & Smile Empty Soul (Nov. 18 – Dec. 15) in support of their debut album The American Dream that came out earlier this year.
See the video for their latest single ‘Insane’ here:
Since the release of their debut album the band has toured almost nonstop, starting with an opening slot on RockFest 2012 they have shared the stage with Saliva, Sevendust, Emphatic, Eye Empire, Hurt, Taproot, Halestorm, Cavo, Theory of a Deadman, Volbeat & Art of Dying to name a few.
Metalholic calls their debut album The American Dream “a collection of songs that feel both fresh yet familiar and slip on like a pair of comfortable jeans” and Jersey Beat thinks “their molten fusion of metal and meaty 70’s power rock is exciting as hell.” The Examiner suggests you “Familiarize yourself with this band now, get to know these two words – Black Oxygen, then get to know these three words – The American Dream – you’ll want to find yourself a seat on the bandwagon before it starts to fill up.”
