Legendary US label Saddlecreek have announced the opening of preorders for Big Harp's sophomore album 'Chain Letters' at the Saddle Creek web store.
Fans of the pastoral duo Chris Senseney and Stefanie Drootin-Senseney can expect a change in direction for the new material with the addition of drums, crackling fuzz bass and angular electric guitars and keyboards. A less "rustic" sound, then, but one the band hope will free them musically.
Having jobbed around in bands such as Saddlecreek staple Bright Eyes, the two formed Big Harp in 2010. They've also had two babies together which, come January, will coincide neatly with their number of albums!
