Icelandic artist Sóley Stefánsdóttir, and member of the indie-collective Seabear and Sin Fang, has premiered a new video for single 'I'll Drown' with NYLON. The dreamlike sequences were filmed outside of her house and near the sea in Reykjavík. Director Anne Peters explains the treatment, "as an unexpected collage, as the images and music create a new dimension in the surrealistic world Sóley sings about. The meaning of the images and words change in another context and you sees things in a different perspective. You have to look twice to discover there is more than meets the eye, but you don't exactly know what it is."
Sóley will support her debut full-length, We Sink (Morr Music) on a mostly sold out tour with Of Monsters and Men next month. The tour begins after she performs at this year's Iceland Airwaves Festival. She will play Morr Music's festival showcase on Wednesday, October 31 alongside FM Belfast, Sin Fang, Pascal Pinon, Prins Polo.
