Just in time to coincide with their second-ever North American tour (tour dates below), Malmö, Sweden's Terrible Feelings will release their Blank Heads EP on 7" vinyl via Brooklyn's Freedom School Records on Halloween (order it at http://freedomschoolrecords.blogspot.com).

Originally recorded in 2011, the four-track EP was self-released by the band in Europe in 2011 but hasn't seen physical release on North American shores until now. Noisey is streaming the EP's title track today, saying "the track is a catchy listen from start to finish and showcases all the good stuff Terrible Feelings has to offer... this is as good a way as any to start off a Thursday morning."

While the band originated in Sweden's perpetually burgeoning underground punk scene in 2009, they transcend genres to create a sophisticated and gloomy mixture of punk and power pop, with music and lyrics rooted in 70s devil-worshipping hard rock and 80s new wave. After a handful of singles and EPs, their 2012 debut full-length, Shadows (Deranged Records/Sabotage Records), was released to critical acclaim. My Old Kentucky Blog called it "sophisticatedly punky, fantastically gloomy and best of all; dance-floor friendly. Doomsday pop never sounded so good" while Brooklyn Vegan hailed the band's "garage punk-infused power pop".

In addition to touring the East Coast this past June, Terrible Feelings has also toured Europe extensively, playing dates with acts such as Jeff the Brotherhood, Yussuf Jerusalem and Night Birds in addition to being hand-picked by Fucked Up to play on the Scandinavian leg of their fall tour. Their November tour will see the band finally hitting the West Coast and Texas, including an appearance at FunFunFun Fest Nites.
