Stone Iris fuse soul, blues, funk, rock and reggae and it is because of this multitude of genres that they are proud to announe their nomination at this year's Edmonton Music Awards for Rock Recording of The Year for their 2012 EP Illuminations which you can listen to below.
Drummer Jeff Burwash comments The 5 song EP is their seventh release and was a follow up to their 2011 twin EPs The Boo Box and Serene Machine and was supported by their Canadian and USA Illumi-nations Tour last summer.
The band is currently gearing up for the release of two follow up albums in 2013. The first being Kicking the Can set for release in March and supported by tour dates to be announced at a later date.
