I saw <A href="http://www.modernlifeiswar.net/">Modern Life Is War</a> for the first time last night, and couldn't believe the energy the band had. The room was, on average, 120 degrees, and the power went out twice before the band could even get through their first song; but once things eventually got under way, these Iowans blew away every single person in attendance. It's great to see that hardcore is getting exciting again.
