The initial lineup for this year's <A href="http://www.halifaxpopexplosion.com">H alifax Pop Explosion</a> has been announced. The annual festival in Halifax, Nova Scotia will host over 60 bands in 5 days and 9 venues. Some of the headlining acts include Ted Leo / Pharmacists, Chixdiggit, FemBots, Hawskley Workman, Japanther and Chad VanGalaan. <br/><br/>The festival will also feature the Independent Music and Arts Confrence, a coming together of indie artists, labels, musicians, zines, comics and more. Showcases, workshops, delegate parties and keynote speakers will be announced soon on <A href="http://www.halifaxpopexplosion.com">H alifaxPopExplosion.com</a>. The festival takes place from October 11th to 15th this year. <br/><br/>
